Scale Model M/V Seabed Prince
Print Profile(0)
Description
This is an extremely detailed scale model of the M/V Seabed Prince (IMO 9489651), a real subsea research and support vessel, originally built in 2009 by Båtbygg AS, Norway.
The vessel's design is specialized for exploration operations, seabed survey mapping, and supporting Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and subsea equipment, as indicated by its name. Its high bow configuration and the large working deck aft (with the helideck forward) are typical of complex modern offshore vessels.
Model and Real Vessel Highlights:
Specific Type: Research/Subsea Support Vessel.
Realistic Details: Faithfully reproduces the complex superstructure, the Helideck, the cargo/container areas, and the cradle support for display.
Modular Printing: The files are optimized for 3D Printing (FDM/Resin) with separate components (hull, superstructure, base) which facilitates assembly and the application of different colors (red for the hull, white for the superstructure, etc.).
This model is a must-have piece for enthusiasts of offshore work vessels, naval engineering, and collectors of real ship replicas.
Included Scale Options:
The file package offers maximum flexibility with two scale options for printing:
Standard/Full Scale (1:1): For the model at its original size intended by the designer.
1:50 Scale: A version scaled up to 1/50, ideal for larger displays, professional collections, or for capturing finer details with resin.
