How to Use The E-Z Hook Tie Tool:

1. Place the hook inside the slot with the point facing the hinge side.
2. Align the hook so the eye sits outside the device where you can easily access it.
3. Close the tool around the hook to lock it in place and prevent rotation.
4. Thread your fishing line through the hook eye using the larger, easy-grip body.
5. Tie your knot (clinch, Palomar, loop knot,  whatever you prefer).
6. Open the tool to release the hook once your knot is formed.
7. Tighten the knot and rig your tackle as usual.

Note:
The hinge has been tested to be durable. However, if it ever breaks, the tool still functions fully, the central hook-holding stems fit securely into the cap even without the hinge. The hinge simply keeps the tool as a single piece so the two halves aren’t separated or lost.
