Description
This model was created to offer enhanced privacy when the webcam is not in use, while maintaining a minimal, clean, and elegant design. The cover installs with a simple snap-on mechanism and requires no additional materials or tutorials.
To achieve a more uniform and aesthetically pleasing finish, the main body has a rotated print orientation compared to the fastest option. This slightly increases print time and requires some supports, but on such a small model it ensures a significantly better final result.
The print plate includes two clip versions: one larger and one smaller. The larger clip works well in most cases, while the smaller one is provided for users who want the microphone area to remain more open. Since both parts are tiny, printing them together does not cause any meaningful material waste.
Because tolerances vary between printers, materials, and environmental conditions, the snap-fit may require minor adjustments. Adding small shims can help achieve the perfect fit if needed. Please remove supports carefully to avoid damaging the main cover.
