well the
This is my modified version of a Russian Chetki, also known as a "rosary" Originally developed and used by Russian prison inmates as an alternative to traditional rosaries, these objects are now very popular as toys for everyone
The ends of the Chetki differ: the "lacing" end has a side hole that allows the cord to be threaded in and out The cord is then knotted and slightly fused with a lighter The "end piece," however, has no opening The total length, including the links, is approximately 20 to 23 centimeters, which corresponds to a standard size Alternatively, the measurement is given from the tip of the middle finger to the first crease of the wrist plus 2 centimeters
For manufacturing, I use a 1 millimeter thick nylon cord Melting the end and forming a pointed tip facilitates threading However, pulling the cord through can be challenging Typically, I cut off the melted end and pull it through with a fishing line loop If this process is unclear, please provide feedback
