Leaper from ARC Raiders
Print Profile(6)

Description
This model is a recreation of one of the ARC enemies: the leaper. An enemy in the game “ARC Raiders” that our family is playing.
A spider like robot (that is pretty huge) and is pretty tough to beat. With the back trusters he can jump (leap) great distances and come close in very little time. And with his pulse attack, multiple raiders can get downed fast.
This model is posable with ball joints, which I found fitting since the little feet of the leaper are little balls. it also fits the aestethic of the enemey. By clicking the feet, bottom leg, middle leg and top leg together, you assemble 4 posable legs and click them in the head/body.
The ball joint system is sturdy, but to click them together, make sure you let the flat face of the ball click in the hook part, as shown below.

Major update 6th of January 2026:
Head of the leaper has been repositioned, and so that:
- it takes less time to print (about 50 min less!)
- it uses less filament (10g)
- hooks are supportless, therefor sturdyer (print tested 4 times)
- the head has some support scarring on the bottom because of this position, but since it is on the bottom (back), it doesn't disturb the visuals.
I also adjusted the supportsettings for the A1 mini.
The legs are set at 102% so there is more friction and it keeps the head up better
Having issues assembling? Print the legs at 100% They will be okey to be posable, but will lose friction after about 1-2 weeks of reposing.
Red circle added on 3rd plate as an option.

Support removal and Assembly:
The ball joint system is sturdy, but to click them together, make sure you let the flat face of the ball click in the hook part, as shown below.

When assembled, the model is about 25 cm long 10 cm wide and 12 cm high. I wanted to keep the scale of the Fireball enemy I made and make the model as impressive as the enemy is in the game.
I hear a leaper. Anyone got a Hullcracker?

Update history
Edit 17th of November: I've added some pré-colored options. The grey-red-black option is the most like the game, but very filament heavy.
The black-red option is less filament waste, but less accurate to the game.
Edit 21th of November: I added a red circle you can glue on the single color design to make the eye of the leaper “pop” without having to use AMS.
Update 14th of December 2025:
Changed the position of the bottom ball so the flat face is more visible. Also mirrored 2 of the top legs so the shiny side can be the same on both sides.
If you're having issues that the head is not supported well enough by the legs after a while, print the legs at 102%. The head can take it (tested it 4 times). Do not do this if you already have issues with clicking the parts together at 100%.
Sidenote for people who aren't printing with the printprofiles.
An extra support was drawn on the print profile to support one of the hooks. Without it, it doesn't print as well. So make sure to draw that support when you don't use the pre-set printprofiles. It is the hook that is right next to the one facing the build plate.
!! This is no longer the case with the new position of the head (6th of January 2026) !!

Not using the print profile? The model does need tree support:

They are very easy to remove:
