This adapter replaces the type VI filter used in many hot tubs. I use it in Lay-Z-Spa.  The case can hold  12 cotton filter balls.&nbsp;Replacement for type 6 filter used in many hot tubs (Intex, Bestway, Lay-z-spa, Coleman)&nbsp;It is not absolutely necessary to make the middle part of the filter (inner cage), but I recommend making it for easier handling.&nbsp;The adapter is slightly taller than the original filter so that the filter housing can grip it tightly (the original housing screw is used for this).For reference, here are the dimensions of the original type VI filter: Height: 81 mm Outer diameter: 104 mm Inner diameter: 52 mmTranslated with DeepL.com (free version)

I made a slight change to the dimensions of the model so that it fits better into the original filter holder in the whirlpool bath. It is now firmly secured in the holder.It is no longer necessary to use silicone to secure the adapter to the holder – the filter holder now does this. (However, it is still possible to add a silicone seal to the adapter.)
