Buddy Elf Hat Flip Flap Spinner

This fun Elf hat is based on the Buddy the Elf's hat. This quick print, no AMS needed, is easy to assemble and super fun to play with! Just spin it between your palms in quick back and forth motion. 

A couple of tips: 

1. Good bed adhesion is a must for this print! Please make sure your plate is clean to ensure a good print! (I prefer to use my smoothe plates for this type of thing).
2. Depending on the filament you use, and how accurate your printer is, you might need to use a deburring tool or sand paper to slightly shave down the stem where the propellers rest. 
3. You'll need to use a drop of glue to attach the hat to the stem. Make sure to leave about a paper width of space between the top propeller and the hat.
4. The red feather is completely optional. You will need to use a drop of glue to get it to stay on the propeller. The red feather will also prevent the spinner from “flapping” into the flat position. This is shown in one of the pictures.
5. There are 21 propellers, but you might find that number 21 is not needed. Again, it depends on the accuracy of your printer.
6. Technically, the project prints fine without a brim on the stem, but sometimes when I print it without the brim, it warps, so I've included it.
7. The base is also completely optional. I like to use it to display it on the shelf.
