Boost me if you like my designs

Boost Me (for free)

1 boost = 71g of filament :) I use your boosts to get more filament and experiment with new designs - so you're directly helping me create better ones!

Thank you!

My recent model for Skadis Pliers Holder v2 was released recently. And even though it's not as popular (yet) as my v1 version of it, the main improvement I spent most of my time was the hook connecting holder to the Skadis Board!

I spent a lot of time testing and prototyping and testing weight and strength, and here is what I achieved IMO:

  • Simple and reusable hook that can be used for almost any model (with single hook or many hooks…doesn't really matter)
  • It's small and can be almost invisible on the model
  • It's printed horizontally on it's side, so it won't break as 90% of other Skadis models with hooks printed with model in a direction which would make it break one way or another
  • Thanks to the above - it's pretty strong! I was building a leverage of ~15cm (~6") and putting on the end pretty heavy pliers and pushing even more with hand…still no break
  • It's really easy to mount! (I found few good reusable hooks, but they were more complicated)
  • …and easy to replace if needed :) Just ~1g of plastic and few minutes of print for a broken hook (but I still didn't manage to break any under normal use)

I don't know if many people would be using it, but I wanted to post it separately so people could use it in their designs with no License limitation. I'm posting STEP file for both the hook itself and the input part which you can add to any of your models

If you'd be using it in your designs - would be good if you'd link to my model, but that's not required, I post it completely opened for any use (even commercial, would be happy to see someone using it in commercial in fact)

Models which already utilize it (if you'd let me know you used it - I would also add link to your model here):
