Fuel Cap Tether Strap

Fuel cap tether / retaining strap — a practical 3D printable replacement for the fuel filler cap strap.
Perfect if the original tether was broken or lost.

This model was personally printed and tested by me — you can see how it looks in real life on my TikTok profile: @draxeldesign_3d.
I also include the Fusion 360 (.f3d) file so you can freely modify and adapt it to your own vehicle.

Recommended materials and print settings:

• Ring / connector: PETG (e.g. Sunlu PETG)
• Tether / cord: TPU (e.g. Sunlu TPU – flexible filament)
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 15–30%
• Brim: not needed
• Supports: only in one small area
• TPU print speed: slow (20–30 mm/s)

💡 Tip: Always check the dimensions to ensure a proper fit for your car before printing.
