Kallax Rack Modul 5x4 – PRED Gridfinity Toolcases

This 3D printable **Kallax Rack Module** was designed to neatly and space-efficiently organize **Pred's Gridfinity Toolcases** (6U 4x5) within an **IKEA Kallax** shelf Click here for the 5x5 version
The boxes can be easily inserted and removed without additional guides or hardware

On the left and right are **additional small parts compartments**, ideal for screws, nuts, bits, or other small items
Each side compartment can be flexibly **divided** with **up to 9 plug-in dividers**, allowing the compartments to be customized to individual needs

Note:
For the **side pull knobs** (to conveniently pull out the compartments), **10 M3x8 screws** are needed (1 screw per knob) The dividers and knobs are optional; the system can also be used without them

Version 1 – Glued Assembly:
The rack is printed in multiple parts and then seamlessly **glued** together
A version with alignment guides is planned

Print Recommendations

• Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm possible for visible front surfaces)

  

• Material: PLA+ or PETG
• Infill: 15–20%
• Supports: no supports
• Post-processing: Glue edges flush
   

Note on Print Time and Material Requirements:

• This rack is a larger module and therefore requires considerable **print time and material**.
  For the complete version (including side compartments and dividers), you should expect approximately **1.65 kg of filament** and a print time of around **2 days and 4 hours** (depending on printer, layer height, and speed)

  Variant – Solo Rack Module:

• An additional simplified solo version of the rack is available.
  This variant omits the side compartments, thus requiring significantly less filament and print time.
  It is ideal for **individual use in the workshop** or for **flexible placement on shelves**, but is **not intended for permanent integration into the IKEA Kallax system**
