Previous Updates

April 7

  • Unified profiles & new print-in-place movement chain

A new print profile has been added replacing the old ones, combining both metric and imperial (feet) measurement systems into one single profile.
No need to choose between profiles, everything is now available in a single profile.

Additionally, the movement chain has been completely redesigned.
The new version is fully print-in-place and comes out of the printer fully functional, flexible and ready for play.

November 30

  • A1 Mini version now live
The fully adapted A1 Mini version of the lockable box is now available.
It includes the redesigned lid mechanism, updated tolerances, and a bottom tray optimized for the smaller build volume.

November 19

  • New lockable box version
  • Updated print profiles (added missing chains)
  • Old box included as separate profile for compatibility
  • Dedicated update-only profile for replacing old parts
  • Test model photos currently shown in gold due to filament shortage
  • A1 Mini version in development, aiming for late November release

November 16

  • Metric system version
  • True radius version (instead of diameter)
  • Update-only radius correction profile
  • Improved movement chain assembly (no glue needed)
  • A1 Mini lid redesign in progress for reliable compatibility

November 13

  • Expanded print profiles
  • Redesigned bottom section with integrated tray
  • New AMS profiles for movement chains
  • PDF instructions added

Overview

After twenty iterations of prototypes ranging from chaotic to semi-functional, this design finally does what I wanted: put all commonly used spell templates, rulers, cones, radii, cubes and a modular movement chain into one compact box.

Everything assembles for play, disassembles for storage and fits into dual-color trays that keep parts flat, organized and protected during transport.
Now with a locking mechanism for anyone who travels with their setup.

If your table used to look like mine did (paper cones, bent rulers, mystery radiuses) this toolkit might be your new best friend.
Your players may disagree.
