Description

Loved the Starbucks bear but I wanted to add a real straw. Made this for a friend who couldn't find the real thing. Added a universal Starbucks style straw for an authentic look.

so this is not a strawtopper ? I’m looking for one with the Penn state logo in place of the cup in the hand

No. I’m not 100% sure what you are looking for. Do you have a picture

came out with a hole in the neck

you have to print the beefed up version to get rid of the hole. The original had a thin area in the neck that on some printers would leave a hole.

how much do you have to size it up to make it the size of the real one? I'm making this for a school project and would like to have it be real life size!

This is close in size. No more than 120%

printed but the hat wont come off now

It should come on and off fairly easy. Your PLA may have shrunk when it cooled. You may need to print it at 101-102% if it’s too small for your application. Also check to make sure you have no support material stuck in the lid. There are several small pieces that print in the grooves.

I have uploaded a new version that is looser for filaments that shrink (certain PLS'a) while printing.

whenever I try to do it, a hollow part comes out from under the bear's neck

You need to print the beefed up version, it corrects the thin condition in the neck that occurs on some printers. Look for the Beefed up Bear profile at the top

can it actually hold water or something

Profile 2 will hold water; however, it's meant as a novelty. You would need to use food grade PLA/PETG if you wanted to drink from it. It only holds about 8 oz's unless you scale it up.
