Description

This is the old version of battery box no longer available. I tried everywhere to buy this exact version but the manufacturer no longer makes them and nobody I could find had them available. It's kind of a pain to make as it requires a lot of supports. its not very printer friendly but it does work well.

Original guitar was a Jackson KV2 but I also had a Jackson DK2 that also had active pickups so I could copy most of the dimensions. Its not an exact copy but its pretty close. I also extended the cutouts in the side so the 9 volt battery connector could fit through the body without having to rewire the connection.

Every box I print fails in the same spot, the lid hinge. I was sure to be very careful after the first one but it's inevitable.

I’m not sure why. I printed the lid without any problems. if I get a chance I’ll print again and see if I can help. it’s been a while since I printed this project.

Unfortunately, the lid cannot be printed… it only takes 4 minutes, which is somehow nonsense

OK, if you use the "battery box jackson5 ASSY.3mf" file it will load into bambu studio fine. AT least it did for me. It is a new file i just uploaded.

the lid is there you just have to click the green box and download all. Click download stl/cad files
