  • Cage nuts or other fasteners x 4: As desired, you may need more or fewer depending on the size of the panel you're printing. 4 per RU is a good ballpark.

Description

Parametric 10" Mini-Rack panels.

 

Includes an inset modifier sub-component which can be used with zero-top/bottom layers to create infill mesh blanking panels for racks with active or passive cooling. This modifier could also be used to decrease infill density to save weight/material. while keeping the ears and outer frame higher-density for strength.

Or just remove the inset modifier altogether, and set a large faceplate depth to create storage trays for your mini rack.

 

The source-files are almost identical except:

  • "Type A" is the original source file which has the modifier and faceplate thicknesses tied to the same value.
  • “Type B” is a variant which has the modifier and faceplate thicknesses on separate variables to enable trays to be generated. 

Note in both files, the modifier is always front-aligned. I don't currently have a plan to create a version where the modifier is rear-aligned.
