Description

Realistic mini excavator models with movable arms and buckets, perfect as a toy or part of a construction-themed collection. No glue or screws are required for assembly – all parts snap together easily.
Available in single-color and dual-color versions. In the basic version, the tracks are fixed, but a TPU track profile is also provided. I recommend using TPU with a hardness of 90A.

Overall great print and thought out by designer. however, in my case i am printing a mass fleet (lol) for a pre K class. between 3 printers i have this model on an assembly line. this is why i chose this model, because its an easy one if you're making one print. I must agree with some of the other commenters that instructions may be helpful. For the most part everything is spot on, but when I get to assembling the bucket some things dont always work out so perfect with the pins. I saw your last comment, the closest pin to 10.3mm was 10.8mm and that one is too short. Bulk printing pins now so i have enough to piece together. To reiterate, some instruction may be helpful as the hydraulic pieces are so close in size (2 rods) i do think the smallest may actually be irrelevant, as ive put together some using the mediums in place of the shortest. Great print, but recommending some quick instruction or consolidation/uniform of print parts. Thank you for sharing

Thank you for the feedback. This was one of my first projects, and you are all right — it can definitely be improved a bit. I never would have thought it would get this much interest. As for the instructions, I will have to make them.

Came out great. I used the TPU tracks and it rolls and swivels and everything. Really nice model, pretty easy to build. Would have been nice to have assembly instructions, but you can figure it out. Took me some trial and error with having to print new pins after I broke them because I inserted them the wrong way. I personalized mine for a construction friend's son.

What a fun model! Easy print. I did a couple of mods, including using a longer cylinder rod on the bucket cylinder. Works perfectly now.

the parts are good but without assembly instructions it's ultra difficult

If you can’t figure out simple things from a picture, then 3D printing isn’t for you. You’re getting the design for free, and in return you leave a bad review just because you lack the imagination to put it together.

are specific pins to be used for the triangular pieces to attach the bucket? ive tried all of them i think many times now, but havent had luck getting them to fit in place, and are very loose

Hi. These are small parts and a 3D printer doesn’t always produce them accurately. Everything depends on the filament and the printer. I can recommend slightly sanding the pin or using glue. Are you referring to the part shown in the photo? In the design, the pin itself has a length of 10.3 mm.
