Description
Practical 45° cutting jig for pipes, hoses, and cylindrical insulation mats
Included sizes: Ø59, 62, 66, 72, 98, 106 mm (outer diameter). Slide it on, align it flush, and cut cleanly at 45° along the edge with a cutter – done
Print recommendations: already integrated into the 3MF file,
otherwise: Support: Tree, Organic - Threshold angle 20° and only on print plate. Print standing; 0.2 mm layer, 2 walls, 6 top/bottom, 10% Gyroid (The edge thickness is 5mm, which already ensures good stability). Material: PLA.
Fit: I have already incorporated a clearance (tolerance range) of 0.25mm into the CAD drawing, but depending on the printer/material, you may need to allow an additional 0.5–1.0 mm of play or slightly scale in the slicer if the first print isn't quite perfect
Scaling/Adjustment: Scale factor = desired Ø / model Ø
Example: 60 mm pipe → 60/59 = 1.017 (≈ 101.7 %)
The base STL is included so you can quickly adjust or slightly modify your own diameters
If you don't have the desire or time to adjust it yourself, write the size in the comments – I will gladly add it to the package
