Description
This model features a 1:1 scale AR15 upper receiver that can be used to store your extra upper components. Things such as your bolt carrier groups (BCG), charging handles, and extra scopes can be stored using this model. It is a decorative piece that showcases an exact replica of an upper receiver that doubles as storage for any of you extra parts. You can even install extra dust covers and forward assists to this model if you have an extra. Don’t have any extra parts? No problem. This can still be a stand alone piece that you print for decorative purposes and/or for learning more about AR15 parts and receivers.
The model comes with a printable back cover which is a snap-on cover that locks into place by pressing it on with a bit of force. This back cover secures a BCG inside the model so that you can transport it without it falling out or getting damaged. It took me awhile to get this parts right as the “clips” were difficult to get right without snapping or being too loose.
NOTE*** It is important not to mess with the print orientation of the back cover as the direction of the layer lines is a big factor in getting it to work properly without the clips breaking off
No hardware required. Just a beautiful looking upper receiver that you can store parts in and show off to your friends. Enjoy!
