LighTech Cover SpeedTriple 1200 RS (PD2)

This cover was designed for the LighTech brand license plate holder, which is sold as an accessory for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS (PD2)

The reason for developing this cover is that the underside of the bracket is open, and the supply lines for the turn signals and license plate light are routed there. The lines would suffer from moisture and dirt, and this area is difficult to clean

Therefore, I designed this cover to protect the lines from moisture and dirt

Note:

I have positioned two holes with a diameter of 2.2mm in the rear part of the cover. Through the bore in the license plate holder, it can be directly fastened with an ISO 7049 - 2.9mm sheet metal screw. Alternatively, an M3 thread can be cut into the cover, and a threaded screw can be used

The front area is fixed solely by clamping, as the license plate holder is slotted in the area where it is attached to the motorcycle. This allows the necessary tension for clamping to be built up

The model is an initial design and still needs to prove itself in various situations (summer, high-speed driving, etc.). Change requests are welcome

The model was printed in PETG, as it is not exposed to direct sunlight and is also stable enough due to its material properties
