Tired of having to use the handle of scissors to adjust/smooth packaging tape on boxes, to ensure better adhesion of the tape to the cardboard, that's how the idea of creating this “simple” tool came about! I didn't find anything similar in the repositories, as “Bone Folders” are too thin and fragile for the kind of “hard” use this one can withstand!
