zBitx Amateur Radio Case

This is a carry case for the zBitx HF radio from HF Signals.

I've printed it with both PETG and PLA and both print fine.  (PETG is recommended in the event you leave it out in the sun at a POTA activation.)  Supports are needed and I used gyroid infill.  There are brims on the hinge pins.  If you have problems with bed adhesion, you may want to add brims to all the parts on the Clasp and Hinge plate.

Before printing, either update the “Callsign” text to your call sign, or delete it.

The rear hinges are a slightly smaller diameter and longer than the clasp hinges.  All hinge caps are press fit on.  I've found to press fit, it works best to use channel lock pliers to get sufficient force to fully install them (as shown in the picture).  Be careful, too much force will break the pin.

The wire from the battery pack is soldered to have the wire feed along the back of the radio.  To minimize the size of the box, you need to lay the wire over the top of the radio.  I found that it puts less stress on the wire to remove some of the outer insulation to put less stress on the wire (as shown in the picture).
