Description

This is an update to my original bike sled design.  The bottom bracket pin now has a perimeter wall surrounding it to aid in locating the crank arm over the pin.  The seat tube bracket now has a large lead.  Both of these brackets are enlarged to fit the PVC pipe OD instead of the ID.

The head tube bracket is unchanged.

These are parts that insert into a 3/4  inch PVC frame (Schedule 40) that I use as a bike sled.

The 3D printed parts hold the bike using the seat tube, bottom bracket and head tube.  The sled makes it easier to load the bike into the trunk of a car.

Since PVC inside diameters vary, and bike parts come in different sizes, I made the model parametric.

One print profile has the bottom bracket holder hollow so a 5mm steel pin can be installed for reinforcement.

Since there is variation in PVC pipe inside diameter, I recommend printing the bottom bracket mount first to verify it fits.  The model is parametric, so you can fine tune how snug the fit is.
