Description

I noticed when doing some processor heavy tasks the top of my Mac Mini (M4 Pro) got very hot.  I know Apple's design factors this into the running specs of the computer, but I figured a little extra cooling wouldn't hurt.  This was especially noticeable when running graphics intensive games where the top becomes very hot to the touch.

This minimalist design takes around one hour and very little filament to print and sits snug to the top of the Mini using minimal contact surfaces.  I used 20mm (3mm thread) copper computer standoffs for the fan mounts.  The fans are USB 120mm general purpose cooling fans with control (low, medium, and high) from Amazon (found here https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B082PVP8B1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1).

I would advise printing in PETG or something that is a little more heat tolerant as PLA may warp if your Mini heats up.  Now, no matter what I am doing my Mac stays cool to the touch!
