Bicycle Fishing Rod Holder

Bring your fishing adventures on the road or on the trails with this easy-to-install bicycle-mounted fishing rod holder. Designed for convenience and portability, this holder securely attaches to your bike frame or seat post, allowing you to transport your fishing rod hands-free! 

Parts needed:

• All 3D printed parts - Top Clamp, Bottom Clamp, Rod Mount
  • Recommend printing with Strong, durable, outdoor element resistant filaments such as ABS, ASA, Nylon, PETG. PLA+ might work (still testing lifespan on my parts) 
• Allen Key Set
• 2X M5x16mm Hex Socket Head Cap Screws
• 1X M5x25mm Hex Socket Head Cap Screw
• 3X M5 Steel Hex Nuts
• Optional:
  • Rubber band 
  • Rubber pads

Design

This fishing rod holder features a lightweight yet rigid structure with a split clamp design, making installation simple — just tighten the M5x16mm socket head screws to the M5 hex nuts to lock it in place. The rod mount and clamp have a square clocking feature allowing you to rotate the position of the mount before securing it in place with the M5x25mm screw. A rubber band or flexible strap of some sort can be attached to the strap button-like features on the sides of the mount to help secure the fishing rod.
