Description
This parametric Insinkerator garbage disposal sound baffle opener helps your sink drain faster if the baffle rubber is too stiff or doesn't allow enough air to enter to allow a good flow. It mounts in the interior channel between the drain flange and the rubber sound baffle. The 5 tabs push the five rubber flanges inside a little bit to open up the baffle slightly, allow much faster water drainage.
Printing
- This should be printed in ABS, ASA or another heat resistant filament. PLA will deform in hot water!
- I added Brim Ears under each tab to help with adhesion.
Resizing
This ring outside diameter is 89.25 mm.
The model is parametric and you can use Fusion to customize this to your drain size. Parameters are shown in the images and below:
