Description

Wall mount that works out of the box with the Saturn V base, following the aesthetics of the original support. There are two options for the mount design:

  1. Skeletonised design: It's more in line with the industrial design of the original supports. Easy to mount on the wall.
  2. Flat design: More robust and easier to print, however the upper screw is tricky to fasten. I've included a simple tool for hex bits to help with that.

Both versions for the mount can be printed without support since the angles of the ribs are not that aggressive (only the connectors will need some).

BoM:

  • Stage 1 Support:
    • 1x Saturn V Mount Flat / Skeletonised
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Medium
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Short
    • 2x M4 Screws, Flat head
  • Stage 2 Support:
    • 1x Saturn V Mount Flat / Skeletonised
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Medium
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Short
    • 2x M4 Screws, Flat head
  • Stage 3 Support:
    • 1x Saturn V Mount Flat / Skeletonised
    • 1x Saturn V Raiser
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Long
    • 2x Saturn V Connector Medium
    • 2x M4 Screws, Flat head

Printing:

  • Print the Mounts with the face where the screws go facing down.
  • This is a structural part so don't save on filament.
  • Recommended: 6 Walls at 15 % infill.
