Aston Villa Football Club is one of England’s oldest and most storied football teams, based in Birmingham in the West Midlands. The club was founded in 1874 and plays its home matches at Villa Park, a historic and iconic stadium that has been Aston Villa’s home since 1897.
Villa Park is renowned for its traditional English character blended with modern upgrades. It has a seating capacity of around 42,000, making it one of the largest stadiums in the country. The ground features four main stands: the Holte End, the Trinity Road Stand, the North Stand, and the Doug Ellis Stand. The Holte End, in particular, is famous for its passionate supporters and its steep, towering structure — one of the most recognizable single-tier stands in English football.
