Description
BAMBU FOR NEZUKO KAMADO COSPLAY
I present my latest design, if you like it, give it a "like", upload photos of the print and comment
When I started seeing people dress up as this popular character, I immediately saw that the famous Bambu could not be worn for a long time, because it forced users to keep their mouth too wide open to hold it and it was uncomfortable. I have seen repeated attempts to improve this, even by adding holes to facilitate breathing, but I couldn't find any design that fit what I was looking for. Finally, I decided to design it myself.
The design is hollow, and has two or three air vents in the bottom area, which are not visible to the naked eye. On the other hand, it has a surface inspired by the size and shape of a mouthguard, which allows it to support the weight of the Bambu effortlessly, distributing the effort across the entire jaw. This structure keeps the mouth slightly open, and makes it easy to breathe through a larger hole, located directly in front of the lips.
I will upload several models, by mouth size, measured from one corner of the lips to the other.
The size of the part that goes into the mouth must adapt to it, so as not to be uncomfortable. For now, I am uploading an S size profile, for a mouth that measures around 40 mm from corner to corner. I include a photo of how to take the measurement. If you want other sizes, please let me know in the comments.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1.- First, I made the Bambu, I placed a piece that fits the mouth up to the back area, of the molars, which can be bitten, facilitating retention without fatiguing the jaw.
2.- I put one hole in the mouth area and two underneath, for air to enter.
3.- Finally, I split it into two pieces, so that the finish is better, which will be joined with custom fittings and a bit of glue.
4.- Finally, we will put the side covers, we will also glue them and pass red tape through the holes.
I RECOMMEND PETG WITH A FOOD-GRADE CERTIFICATE. A PART OF THE PIECE WILL GO INTO THE MOUTH, SO I THINK IT IS THE BEST.
3D PRINTING PARAMETERS:
I recommend the lowest possible layer height, to eliminate lines on curved surfaces, and the use of PETG as it is usually non-toxic, and this piece goes inside the mouth.
The piece, being a tube, obviously requires supports.
