Description

A shelf-sized resurrection of Stephen King’s most epic book cover ever, this display captures the crazy cat lady vibes that will make you think sometimes dead is definitely better.

The display prints without supports and measures 165 by 240 mm. Two profiles are included, an AMS version (picture) with multi-color Church fur or a single color version. Parts align cleanly and fix with a small dab of superglue. The back features a nail hook for wall display, but I will bury this on my bookshelf.  For easier/cleaner assembly, glue in the whiskers after the second layer of fur.

Compact, textured, and quietly cursed, this piece brings a bit of Ludlow soil to the books display, proof that not all things should come back, but this print probably should.

Workflow: simplified the book cover in adobe fresco, created a dxf in Inkscape, created the depth layers and other 3d components in onshore, and modeled the fur in nomad sculpt.
