This is a simple scarf seam test print. Plate 1 (cylinders w/ holes) is 18 grams and 56 minutes. Plate 2 (overhangs) is 14 grams and 51 minutes.
I would like to give credit to AdamL on printables for the long and detailed post about what settings to use to maximize your scarf seams. I also got a lot of information from Teaching Tech on Youtube, which directed me to AdamL on Printables.
As of August 2025, Bambu Studio has made it possible to enable scarf seam settings in the global settings under “Quality” (2.2.0 Public Release Note). You must override the filament profile's scarf seam settings, and then enable it to “contour and hole”, or basically anything other than none.
You can verify the scarf settings are enabled in this .3mf print profile by going under the “objects” tab, and viewing the quality settings for each cylinder. You'll see one has scarf seams enabled and the other does not.
