Display Case for my PS1 Themed Spinner

Featuring spring loaded pop open lid just like the OG PS1, and optional battery powered turntable.

Find the spinner model here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1874151-ps1-themed-fidget-spinner#profileId-2006260

Rough cut assembly guide:

There are 2 print profiles which have slightly different parts depending on whether you use AMS or not. These parts are;

  • The front with the numbers
  • Power button
  • Open button
  • Lid

In all cases, the non-AMS variant has indentations for the details instead of different colour. I will update the print profiles soon with the appropriate pictures.

In addition to this, another profile has alternative parts which are best printed in TPU;

  • Turntable Gears (reduce motor noise)
  • Motor Mount (reduce motor noise)
  • Feet (better grip on table and reduces potential scratching)

the fact that the model would eventually be released for free wasn’t a secret lol. anyone who wanted to wait was free to do so. backers also gained addition print files and benefits for their money, depending on the tier they purchased.

Printed in PETG, quick size comparison to the Playstation Classic Didn't buy the hardware kids but some selftapping screws we bought fitted well enough and I had a spring kit with springs that I cut to length to fit properly Filaments used: (Light) Gray Bambu Lab PETG HF Anthracite Extrudr PETG Green Bambu Lab PETG HF Sky Blue Dutch Filaments PETG Coral Pink Roffelsen PETG The video assembly instructions could be better in my opinion but it is totally doable

All the parts are printed, just eagerly awaiting the assembly instructions. No way I can figure this one out on my own like the other person.

To be fair it was always going to be free. That was known but, as a paid backer we should have had it completed by now. I am looking to get my money back at this point.
