Description
My office building has a lot of exposed concrete details and columns. These features have ¾" conduit running through them. meaning you could run wire from one side to the other very easily, but it also means that dust, noise, light and many other “fluids” can freely pass both ways. I designed this plug for noise suppression, as my office wall has 6 pipes connecting it to a neighboring office and I'm very sensitive to noise.
The plug design is very lightweight. I actually printed 80 of them in a single P1S plate using up around 170g. The plug is also very soft, meaning it can be squished to fit the pipe and also handle some pressure to stay put.
I didn't think I would need this design again, but I got an order for 100 of them, so I decided that if I were to need them again, at least I have the profile ready to print through Bambu Handy.
BTW: I use Generic TPU, and you can set the flowrate to 7 mm³/s (almost double that of stock) with no adverse results other than a little stinging which can be removed with a lighter or a heat gun.
