Update: I've added a Lamp version that uses Bambu Lab's Lamp Kit for those who wanted a plug-in version.
Also, I've added a print profile for a Mini version that can hold Bambu Lab's Mini Waterproof RGB LED Tea Lights!
--------
This 3D-printed Candy Corn Traffic Cone is both festive and functional — perfect for decorating your porch, walkway, or Halloween display. Standing about 11.75 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep, it’s hollow inside with space for a Bambu Lab tea light, giving it a warm, glowing effect after dark.
The model prints in four separate parts for easy color separation and snap-fit assembly:
- Top section (white)
- Middle section (orange)
- Bottom section (yellow)
- Base (black)
No AMS is required — simply print each section in its color and assemble them by hand.
Alternate Versions:
Three different yellow sections are included, so you can choose how you’d like to display your Candy Corn Traffic Cone:
- Yellow Section (Base Version) – Designed to pair with the black base and tea light holder.
- Yellow Section (Integrated Light) – Includes built-in tea light holder; no base required.
- Yellow Section (Plain) – No tea light holder, for a simple solid candy corn decoration.
All yellow versions are sized identically and can be used interchangeably with the white and orange sections.
Recommended Filament:
- Bambu Lab PLA Basic (Jade White, Pumpkin Orange, Yellow, and Black)
- Bambu Lab Tea Light fits perfectly in the internal holder
Printing Tips:
- Prints cleanly without supports, except for the white top piece that has supports for the interior dome (but they remove cleanly)
- Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 15–20%
- Works great on the Bambu Lab A1 Mini
- Snap-fit tolerances designed for reliable alignment
Use Ideas:
- Line your walkway to guide trick-or-treaters
- Decorate your front porch, window, or Halloween table display
- Use with tea lights for a soft nighttime glow
Closing:
This piece started as a fun seasonal mashup — candy corn meets traffic cone — and turned out to be a great Halloween accent light. I hope it brightens your spooky season! Share your makes and tag your setup photos — I’d love to see how you use it.
