This AR-15 vertical wall mount is designed for strength, security, and convenient rifle storage. It positions your AR-15 muzzle-up with the magwell facing the wall, providing a space-saving, vertical display while keeping your firearm readily accessible.

The mount features two vertically aligned holes—both angled for easier installation. Enhanced rigidity comes from 8 perimeter walls and a reinforced set of walls around an internal void. For best results, print laying flat on its top side (as shown in the print profile) to optimize strength and load resistance. PLA is plenty strong for this application, though fiber reinforced filaments can be used to further increase structural integrity if desired. That being said, they're not necessary for most installs.

A built-in magazine release catch locks the lower receiver securely in place.

Mounting holes are 5 mm in diameter with countersunk faces. Recommended hardware (minimum length):

Drywall to stud: 3" screws
Direct to stud or slatwall: 2½" screws

Minimal supports were incorporated, and any leftover material in the screw pockets can be left in place as they won't affect install. Perfect for both secure storage and vertical display.

Love your design a lot, but I needed it for my Gladiator GearWall. Modified yours to work with it, and added models for AR-10, Tippmann M4-22, and a PCC Glock 9. I also reincorporated screw holes, that screw into the inset of the GearWall. This wasn't needed to add support, but it helps keep them in place when removing the rifle. Printed in Elegoo PETG, and the AR-10 with 20" barrel has been hanging perfectly stable for well over a week. I know you don't allow remixes, but I'd be happy to add my profile/STLs to yours if you're interested in collaborating.

@TheRealJewBilly - Nice! I dig it! And thank you, for the complement on the design, the boost, and your offer to share your adaptation. However, I wouldn't feel ethical taking points that I feel you deserve. I'm open to experimenting, so I went ahead and altered the license type to allow remixes with proper attribution. Looking forward t seeing the remix!
