👁️ D&D Mimic Dice Book – 3D Printed Dice Holder, Dice Tower & Storage Case (Not-A-Mimic)

This 3D printable Mimic Dice Book is a mischievous twist on the original Dice Book design. It features all the same modular functionality, but with monstrous flair worthy of the dungeon depths.

At first glance, it appears to be an ordinary tome for dice and minis… until you notice the rows of sharp tooth-lined pages, the five watchful eyes along the cover, and a massive d20 eye staring back at you from the front.
The book spine insists it’s “Not-A-Mimic.” You decide if you believe it.

Print Features

Printed as one piece, this Mimic Dice Book uses a living hinge that flexes open smoothly even when printed in PLA. The interior supports the same modular insert system as the classic version which is perfect for dice, miniatures, or other mysterious treasures.

Choose your closure style:
🧲 Magnet version – uses (4× 10x2mm) magnets for a clean, satisfying snap.
🔐 Snap-latch version – fully printable, portable, and immediately usable.

Monstrous Aesthetic Additions

• Tooth-lined edges wrap around the “pages” for that signature Mimic grin.
• Five sculpted eyes sit along the top of the book cover, ever-watchful.
• Large d20 with a central eye dominates the front cover design.
• “Not-A-Mimic” text embossed along the spine as a cheeky warning (or lie).

Modular Inserts

Just like the original Dice Book, the Mimic edition supports multiple tray options included in the print profile:

• Dice Tray Insert – Holds a standard set of 7 dice with room for a miniature. Includes a flip-up kickstand to hold the cover open.
• Dice Tower Insert – Snaps into 3 configurations for rolling and compact storage.
