Description
Bring a touch of architectural style to your garden or workspace with this 3D-printed A-frame birdhouse. Inspired by mid-century modern cabin design, it features clean, geometric lines and a cozy minimalist look that blends beautifully with natural surroundings.
The structure combines form and function — the steep A-frame roof provides protection from rain, while ventilation holes at the base ensure airflow inside. A rear hook hole makes it easy to hang, and the front panel is fully removable for effortless cleaning or inspection.

(new) Modern A-Frame Birdhouse – V2 Update
This V2 update focuses on durability, safety, and real-world usability based on community feedback.
The biggest improvement is a redesigned front door. The new mechanism is significantly more secure, helping it stay firmly closed in harsh weather conditions and making it much harder for predators to access the interior. This makes the birdhouse better suited for long-term outdoor use.
I’ve also added two interchangeable entrance options:
- A version with a perch, for those who prefer the traditional look or want to support species that may use it.
- A version without a perch, which is generally recommended for small birds. Perches are not necessary for most species and can actually make it easier for predators to reach inside.
This update aims to give you flexibility while prioritizing bird safety and practicality.
As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated—thanks to everyone who contributed ideas for improving this design.
