AR15 / picatinny Iron Sights
Print Profile(1)

Description
This model contains a front sight and rear sight for an AR-style rifle.
The front sight takes a M3x10 screw from below to make for an adjustable front sight post. I borrowed this idea from another free print.
Both sights are mounted on your picatinny top rail using one M5x40 each. For best results, use a M6x40 and turn/grind down the thread to slide in between the rail grooves.
How good does it work? Good enough to win the nationals in IPSC PCC Iron Sights (ask how I know!). :)
The height is matched to hit POA at 30 meters with factory ammunition using a 16" barrel in 9mm.
I have not tested other calibers or combinations, please let me know your results.
The sights have been designed by me from the ground up in Fusion 360.
The designer takes no responsibility for damages to persons or objects. Practice safe gun handling and common sense!
