Description

I know, I know — I’ve heard what people say: “If you want a chance in a contest, make it a quick print!”
And yet… here we go with around 4 hours of printing time for each part! 😅
The first prototype actually took almost 8 hours per section — you can see it here in the photo, printed larger (about 170 × 170 mm per piece). But I loved the result so much that I had to refine and finish it.

Description:
This piece is my interpretation of a cathedral rose window, reimagined through organic, coral-like shapes. It merges the symmetry and sacred geometry of Gothic architecture with the irregular, living textures of marine forms.
The result is a structure that feels both architectural and natural — like a rose window grown by the sea.

Technical Details:

  • Divided into 4 parts for easier printing (you can print only one part if you want)
  • Printed with glow-in-the-dark filament for a magical effect in low light
  • All walls feature a fuzzy texture to enhance the organic feel and light diffusion
  • Printing time: ~4 hours per part
  • No supports required (depending on print orientation)
