Halloween - Veythar the Pale Whisper, Necromancer Mini
Created for the Halloween contest, this eerie figure brings the dark arts straight to your tabletop. The Halloween Necromancer was designed to balance clean printability with plenty of painting texture from the runed staff to the tattered robes.
Whether he’s commanding the undead, guarding a forbidden crypt, or starring in your next dungeon encounter, this model fits right in with the spooky season vibe.
The Story
In the crooked alleys of dim lit towns, whispers spread of a figure cloaked in shadow. Few now recall his true name, for only this twisted version remains, Veythar the Pale Whisper, spoken in hushed tones when the tavern fire burns low.
Veythar will raise bones from the grave if he must, but he craves the freshly dead. A beggar, a traveler, an unsuspecting victim—each one taken and twisted into the ranks of his ever growing legion of the restless dead. He is known to take residence in forgotten tombs just beyond the edge of town, using them as staging grounds to hunt for new victims and expand his dark army. In recent years he has even taken on an apprentice, sending them into towns to lure or create fresh specimens. With this grim task off his hands, Veythar has more time to delve deeper into his mad and twisted experiments.
Once a scholar cast out with his family for forbidden rites, Veythar’s exile grew darker still. His wife perished in the harsh years that followed, and his daughter, terrified by the corruption that consumed her father, fled. She took up a sword and the mantle of an adventurer, vowing to fight the very forces that twisted him into what he became. Where he walks in shadow, she follows in light, forever chasing the echo of the man he once was.
The Model
A detailed necromancer miniature designed with paint friendly surfaces and dramatic silhouette. Some areas may require supports depending on printer and slicer settings, especially around staff and cloak.

When printing, be sure to print both pages at 100% scale (no fit-to-page). After printing, trim along the edge guides and align the two sheets carefully to form the full crypt layout. A small overlap is intentional to help with alignment—just tape or glue the back side once you’re satisfied with the match.
Fast Minis, Zero Hassle
Perfect for your D&D or Pathfinder sessions when the party least expects it. Drop him into a bustling town square or behind a tavern corner and let the panic begin.
Painting Tips
- Base Coat: Black or dark gray primer to establish deep shadows.
- Robe: Blend dark gray and black, then dry-brush with graphite or cold gray for worn fabric highlights.
- Staff: Brown base with a dark wash (black or sepia) to emphasize texture.
- Crystal: Layer deep purple or blue at the base, fade to white at the tips, and finish with gloss varnish for a magical glow.
- Skin: Pale tan base, sepia wash, then bone-colored dry-brush for an undead pallor.
- Optional: Add faint violet edge-highlights on the robe and runes to tie into the Halloween theme.
