is the template thin enough to just be printed in whatever color and used?

yes! the template fits in the slot nicely and can be printed in whatever color you choose.

The window stencil is meant to be used as a guide to cut a piece of paper or a picture that has a sunset on it or whatever background you want.

It’s an ok print. most of my book marks don’t fit (the tray isn’t wide enough for me) There was a lot of stringing (which is an easy fix) and the window panel is pretty average that you have to stick your own picture on it. Would be better to have some kind of pattern or picture on it.
