WAVY PASSPORT COVER

The model was created by combining mathematical functions and randomizers to give it this aesthetically pleasing shape and excellent grip. The result is a thin case with a fluid shape that catches the eye without appearing excessive. I printed mine with PLA Silk + silver, which, thanks to the print configuration, takes on a shiny metallic color, making the most of the filament's properties.

Print Features

The model was made with my A1 mini and is compatible with all higher-end printers. The project was created in Blender, and I made multiple prototypes to ensure maximum strength and optimal print volumes and timings.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm

  • Print plate: Bambu textured PEI (the standard one)

  • Printing material: PLA Basic Bambulab (colors of your choice) and PLA Silk +

  • Layer height: 0.2mm

  • Initial layer height: 0.2mm

  • Wall generator: Arachne

  • Initial layer speed: standard

  • Outer wall speed: standard

  • Inner wall speed: standard

Ensure the first layer is perfect and adheres to the build plate. In case of adhesion problems to the build plate, make sure it is clean or use a specific glue stick.

Personal Note

I believe this is one of the projects I am most proud of, not only because the final result is already satisfying, but also because I see room for improvement and it is the first of a long list of commonly useful models that I intend to create
