Description
Rear mudguard extension for the Teverun Fighter Mini electric scooter. Tired of getting your back dirty when riding in the rain or through mud because the stock mudguard is too short? This longer version offers enhanced protection, keeping your back safe from water and mud splashes from the rear wheel.
Update after several months of testing
Practical use has led to several key improvements to the design, ensuring better fit and durability:
- Refined hole spacing - The bolt pattern has been corrected to perfectly align with the metal mounts, making installation smoother and more precise.
- Switch to TPU material - This is the most critical upgrade. While the initial PETG version snapped in half after being struck by a stone, TPU's flexibility makes it virtually indestructible. It absorbs impacts instead of cracking, which is essential for a part exposed to road debris.
- Aesthetics and Printing - The black version shown is actually printed in white TPU (as it was the only color available at the time) and then painted black.
- Technical Note - TPU is a challenging material to print. Due to its elastic nature, surfaces where supports were attached are not perfectly smooth. This is a typical characteristic of the material and does not affect the fender's overall performance.
