Description
Indoor/Outdoor Ventilation Exhaust Fan Kit
The perfect solution for adding indoor to outdoor ventilation to your home, garage, or shop! Remove fumes from printing, welding, or paints/epoxy. This 3 piece set is designed for this 6" exhaust fan:

This kit includes:
- Outdoor rain cover designed to block rain while allowing the backdraft flaps to open.
- Velocity Stack that replaces the metal grate. This improves airflow while reducing noise.
- Cover that fits over the velocity stack to prevent bugs and heat escape when the fan is not in use.
Instructions:
- Purchase the exhaust fan
- Use a 6" hole saw to drill a hole from an indoor wall to an outdoor wall. Use a Stud Finder/AC detector to make sure you're not drilling into a stud or wiring behind the drywall.
- Use a small drill bit to add a divot in the drywall to feed the wire through. Use a dremel to add a small notch in the side of the exhaust fan's mounting plate to feed the wire through that as well.
- Fit the fan in the hole. Make sure to use exterior-grade caulk to prevent water damage.
- Print out the pieces. The Rain Cover can be secured by screws over the exit. Remove the metal grate on the indoor part of the fan and replace it with the velocity stack.
- Use the cover as needed to prevent bugs/rain from getting in. Add a switched extension cord and plug it into an outlet. I used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5DNWJZJ
