I recently purchased the Dog Mate medium pet door, model 215W, and discovered that when the security panel is not installed, there is no convenient way to store it. It gets misplaced, ends up on the floor or some other unexpected location, and is nowhere to be found when you need it.
I designed this print to hold the security panel when it's not in use on the pet door. You can attach it with sturdy double-sided tape or screw it to the wall for a secure hold. I recommend using screws, and it is designed to use a standard drywall screw. You'll need to decide on the best mounting method and hardware for your use case.
I recommend mounting the top part to the wall/door first. Then, attach the bottom part to the security panel and hang the assembly from the top part that is already in place. Finally, screw the bottom part to the wall while it's hanging from the top part, locking it in place.
