Habit-Tally Habit Tracker/Motivator

Habit-Tally is my take on a motivation tracker. It can be used in many ways to suit how you wish to be pushed to make that change you've been wanting to make. With seven columns the tracker covers the week, and with two depths positive tokens can be either at the front (covering negative tokens from view), or the back (where a negative token covers them from view). The token sizes can be used to help adjust the intensity of the reward tracked, highly desired activities could get a double-sized green and a minor negative a single-sized red; or tokens can be customised, or coloured to suit a traffic light style of tracking - completely up to you and how you wish to use Habit-Tally. 

There is an retainer piece inserted at the bottom to hold the tokens in their columns, and similar to the old-school Connect-4 boards, pulling the tab at the bottom resets the week and releases the tokens out the bottom. I recommend the deeper catch tray- especially if you use the double tokens, but the slim version does have better aesthetics. I have mine mounted to the side of my fridge cabinet (where all the bad decisions happen) using small strips of double sided tape on the rear of the prints.

In my case I want to encourage myself to workout - getting a token for cardio sessions or time in the weights room, eating healthy etc - these equate to green tokens in the rear colum as I want a visual representation of what the sabotaging activities are doing to my overall goals. So I put a red token in the front column for things like unhealthy meals, skipping a workout, late nights where I get terrible sleep. This way I get both the positive reinforcement and clear visual when I'm making progress towards my goals and also a clear visual for when I'm sabotaging myself and the green token is obscured by a red one.
