Z-O-M-B-I-E-S Z Band for Kids -

Boost Me (for free)

This is my first ever post...if you like it, BOOST ME!

No AMS required, as parts print separately and glue together to save on filament waste!

The only part you'll have to figure out is the label - Might have to manually change colors and/or paint the letters on post-print

The strap I used is a silicone wristband from Amazon. Then I used a 6mm (standard) hole punch for the holes.

Alternatively, I uploaded a TPU version as a separate print profile.

Huge hit for a birthday, love that this already existed haha. I didn’t have time to get a band so I just used a ribbon and it worked fine. the online/offline piece is a bit loose, it fell out repeatedly when the birthday girl was walking around, but I’m not sure you could make it snugger and still changeable. I printed in pla silk (silver) and painted the Zs as I don’t have yellow

Yeah, I adjusted several things to try and get the slide in piece just right, which it is for my setup. If I were to do it again, I would probably just have a couple friction points instead of the whole edge. That might have allowed a looser tolerance. Either way, thanks for the pic and comment!

Oh, my apologies, I thought I had put text explaining that I used a silicone band and a hole punch to make the green strap. I'll fix the post. I also think I can come up with a TPU strap, or maybe really thin pla would work too. I'll draw that up and post it soon.

Sorry, this is my very first upload! I'm still not entirely sure what happened, but I exported the file to generic 3mf, and the 3D preview now shows on the colors. Can you please confirm it fixed it for you too?

Bed adhesion is poor. Should include tabs or a boat or at least print at a different angle.

On the main band part? I didn't have any adhesion issues on my P1S, but I keep my bed pretty clean. You can always add a raft if you're having adhesion issues.
