Backbone One (iOS) to iPad Mini 5 Mount – Remix

I designed this mount (as per clients request) to connect the Backbone One (iOS controller) with the iPad Mini 5, giving it a handheld-console feel.

The original concept wasn’t mine – the 3D model from my client was specifically designed to fit the iPad Mini 6 perfectly. I remixed it using Tinkercad, adjusting the top part to fit the iPad Mini 5. Adding some extra supports in the middle for better strength. I also added some holes for the charging cable/wires to fit. Another addition from the original model is the clip and PlayStation logo. 

Now you can enjoy gaming on a bigger screen while still having the comfort and grip of the Backbone One controller. The mount locks the iPad in place securely and aligns perfectly with the controller grips.

Notes:
