Description

Check my crowdfunding project OE OTF RE: Redefine and Evolve

Have a knife day!

Another OTF over-engineered one. Enhanced! Lubricate the inside with cooking oil. Prefer PETG. Not suitable for silk filament due to its stickiness.

I printed your previous model to and was really happy with it. But this one is phenomenal! I really like that the "closing llid" is more stable now! Great work, keep up!

Is this the bold pattern flat handle? Do I just print the three pieces on the right for this extension length? I assume the three on the left allow the blade to extend further in the same handle? I want to print this, but the documentation is confusing. Many users report difficulty identifying parts despite claims they are labeled. The assembly video is too fast and lacks explanation, leaving the various options unclear. It feels like the creator assumes everyone already knows the system. A simple 5-minute video of a single assembly and a guide linking specific parts to completed versions would be far more useful. I love the concept, but getting started is unnecessarily complex. If the creator focused more on clarity and less on self-promotion or dismissing questions, this amazing print would be much more accessible. Currently, many people give up due to a lack of basic instructions.

Hey, I printed the trapezoidal 18mm narrow pattern extended handle but looks like a lot more spare components. can you please advice which components are actually needed and if you can share an assembly guide that will help. the video has too many options and some don’t match what I’ve got in the print ? thanks. looking forward to getting this set up. Ive this printed using the default settings for PETG-HF.

You ever get this figured out? I was gonna print it out but then saw this post. Looks like way too many parts for a single unit.

Nope. I ended up printing something else altogether which works way better and doesn’t have any springs either. This is what I printed. https://makerworld.com/models/1870926?appSharePlatform=copy

Nicely done. I've already printed/assembled 3. Only 2 shown as I gifted the 3rd.

Such an awesome design. Works flawlessly for me first try! but added a couple drops of dry lube for some extra smoothness. Printed with Bambu Translucent PETG and Sunlu Elite PETG. I’ll definitely be printing a few more! thanks! quick note: I do think some more specific instructions would be helpful, but the video works good enough for now.

I have to say this the coolest thing I have printed. Afte trial and error I got it working. I didn’t get the other working with metal I don’t know why, cause it worked with a plastic blade.

quite sad with the results I had high hopes but it’s too hard to open and the blade doesn’t lock forward properly

amazing design!!! Printed in petg and this work super nice. Does not work in petg-cf for me, but the print quality was not great maybe for someone who knows how to handle petg-cf better. I have questions, does printing the parts in pla except the spring works well? I don't like the shine of petg, and it's not a pleasure to touch. And would it be possible that you give use the model without pattern on it? I think the casing would look amazing with a fuzzy skin.
