Audi A4 B5 Trunk Cover Repair Mount

On the Audi A4 B5, it is a common issue that the trunk cover mounting point breaks, making the cover impossible to secure properly. This 3D printed repair part was designed to replace the broken mount. It can be fixed with a screw in the original location, allowing the cover to be securely attached again.

This is a practical and durable solution that extends the lifetime of the OEM trunk cover and saves the cost of replacing the whole unit.

Function

• Replaces the original trunk cover mounting point.
• Easy to install with just one screw.
• Stronger and more durable than the OEM plastic part.

Required hardware

• 1 × wood screw / sheet metal screw (around 3.5 × 15 mm recommended).
• Screwdriver.

Print settings

• Material: PETG or ABS recommended (for heat and UV resistance). 
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 100%
• Brim recommended for better adhesion.
• Orientation: place it so that the mounting hole is horizontal for maximum strength.

Installation

1. If the original plastic piece broke in such a way that it blocks installation, you may need to clean or trim the area (e.g., by sanding or cutting).
2. Fit the printed part into its position.
3. Secure it with one screw.
4. Reattach the trunk cover to the new mount.

• Car: Audi A4 B5 (1995–2001) Avant (wagon)
• Works for both left and right side.
