Summer is here, and my phone gets incredibly hot when charging. I happened to have some spare 8015 and 8025 fans on hand, so I took some time to make an active cooling stand. I finally finished the design as autumn arrived. It's not too late, is it
The overall design prioritizes no supports printing, and then combining my limited imagination, I incorporated the air duct, if it can be considered an air duct.
The phone holder claws are relatively simple, but phones with both center and side charging ports can be placed.
In the later stage of the design, two ear-like structures were added, so it was made to look like cat ears. I personally feel the effect is quite good.
The overall design has a lot of cutouts, so be sure to pay attention to print plate wobble and filament stringing. It is designed for no supports printing, and although some compromises have been made for overhangs, there are still some minor issues. If you mind, please print cautiously, as automatic software supports cannot be used.
Also, I found that some 8015 fans actually have a thickness of about 16mm, such as the Thermalright I have, so the model provides an 8016 version.
Currently there are 4 versions in total. 3 are side-mounted versions using a speed controller, suitable for adjustable speed fans, compatible with 8015/8016/8025 fans respectively. One is a version with an SS-12F15 1P2T switch installed, suitable for fixed speed fans, and currently only the 8025 version is available.
The speed controller version is the same as the effect header image. Just put it directly in and install it on the left side. This type of speed controller is commonly used in forums.
Two-wire fans cannot adjust speed. The SS-12F15 1P2T switch to be installed is this type, installed on the front right side, and requires soldering.
