Flash Paper Wand
Print Profile(2)

Description
I bought one of those Harry Potter flash paper wands, but was disappointed in its performance. Its a simple enough Setup, so I made my own. Assuming you have some soldering skill and electronics knowledge, now you can too. This is the list of materials I used ordered from Amazon. I used Grip tape to temporarily hold it all together and I may stick with it, but you can screw it closed as well using the screw holes modelled in or remodel it and use your own fasteners. Just make sure all wires are out of the way and not going to be pinched.

The only thing I did not get from Amazon was the ¼" Diameter 1/16"wall Stainless steel tube for the tip. I cut it about 3" long, but you could cut it shorter. Set the heating element about ¾" into the tube. Much deeper and you will have less than desired results. Also make sure power is off to the element when loading the flash paper. 4"long by ¾"wide is about right fold it over 5 times, load turn on power, push the button and FIREBALL!
